Experienced Creative Director with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry. Skilled in Film, Event Management, Public Speaking, Art Direction, and Event Planning. Strong arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Arts - BA focused on Directing and Theatrical Production from the University of Ibadan.

In the words of a personality greatly admired by many "Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things from a different perspective". As a seasoned Thespian Akinbo, O. David makes it his professional responsibility to create from every project a vibrant and dynamic piece that breaks the boundaries of creativity and his talents and works are proof enough.

David is the brain behind the 'TobiDavid Studios' and he plays host to a seasoned podcast channel; the TobiDavid Podcast. In addition to his role as a director, David also boasts of being a brilliant mind in all matters of technical design.

Over the last couple of years, he has directed more than a handful of scintillating local and foreign plays including a Chinese theatre piece: Fourteen, The Butterfly Dream, Ozidi, 4:48 Psychosis, The Profession, to mention a few. In addition, David has directed a handful of short films.

As a prolific director, David was the Artistic Director of the 43rd Initiation Ceremony of the University of Ibadan Theatre Arts students, titled The Fire Within, the Assistant Director of the 2019 African Drums Festival, and the Director of Malika The Musial ; the first ever Children Musical in Abuja.

David enjoys swimming, having creatively stimulating conversations and is a lover of good music and sound.
