I am an economist at the Directorate General Financial Stability of Deutsche Bundesbank. I obtained my Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Bonn Graduate School of Economics at the University of Bonn. I also worked as a (research) consultant and trainee at the Directorate General Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability of the European Central Bank.
I am equally passionate about conducting in-depth research projects and contributing to policies that enhance public welfare. I firmly believe that these activities can be mutually beneficial.
My research interests are financial economics, monetary economics, and their intersection. I leverage granular microdata for empirical analyses that answer questions of macroeconomic relevance.
My policy work currently focuses on mitigating financial stability risks from non-financial firms and commercial real estate (CRE) markets. If you are a Ph.D. or Master's student and are interested in our work, apply for an internship with our team at Deutsche Bundesbank.
