I am a staff scientist with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and work at the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems IFISC (CSIC-UIB) in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. My work focuses on the statistical physics of complex systems, in particular stochastic processes, population dynamics and disordered systems. Applications include evolutionary dynamics, stability of complex ecosystems, models of opinion dynamics, language evolution, and stochastic processes in biological systems.
