What is Toastmasters International?

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. In a supportive community or corporate environment, members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback. It is through this regular practice that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals. Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado with approximately 270,000 members in more than 14,000 clubs in 150 countries.

Who are we? - Toastmasters Club of Pune (TMCP)

We, at Toastmasters Club of Pune, pride ourselves on being the oldest community club in Pune, established in 2008 by our founder DTM Prasad Sovani. We are also proud to say that TMCP has consistently upheld the highest quality in terms of experience, education and club quality since its inception, winning multiple awards. We have a wide variety of people ranging from Working Professionals, Businessmen and Students in fields like IT, Finance, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Food & Beverage Industry, Water, & others. Our past members are spread across the globe in various prestigious organizations and thank TMCP for teaching them the skills required to be a corporate leader. 

We meet every Saturday from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM wherein members of the club give prepared speeches and receive constructive feedback as per their selected educational track and practice leadership skills like managing people, managing events, observation, active listening, effective networking, time management and much more.
