i create a rule to block Ultrasurf on top and a rule to allow any below it. but ultrasurf still can bypass. surprisingly once ultrasurf connected to its server, PAN unable to logged the traffic. No traffic looged in URL filtering, Threat and Traffic log.

and currently im applying the same method like yours, create a block rule for unknown-tcp with port 443 ...this will block ultrasurf user from browsing any site but in the ultrasurf status is still 'succesfully connected'.

When ultrasurf updates to a new version, PAN only recognize the APP as ssl. What i've noticed though is that ultrasurf calls to TAIWAN(hi-net) network, a dynamic network. So what i did was i created a rule that blocks TAIWAN & unknown-tcp. Problem solved for Ultrasurf.

I am in Syria , and this report is worrying , i myself uses the latest snapshot of tor alone in linux , but my sister and most of the ppl that i know uses ultrasurf because it is simply much tech-dumb-proof.

and because the tor bundle disable the use of flash & js , while ultra-surf doesn't. so they think that tor is broken without knowing the full story.

Your blog posts don't really debunk any of the specific things Jacob Appelbaum talks about. Your blog posts sound much more like a personal attack on him than what he wrote about ultrasurf. The reply from the Ultrasurf developers is so vague and has no value. It sounds like you were seriously hurt (personally, financially?) by Jacobs review (or "critique") of Ultrasurf.

friends these days in my office they lock net connection on pc .. .........to unlock net i using ultrasurf ....thic is the great tool all site are unlock with good speed. but utorrent not working .....and one more thing my office all lan connected to router than server or main router ......tell me what i do to use utorrent and peer to peer file downloading

Hi there! I just found out a solution regarding with your problem.. In my case, I'm also using ultrasurf (version 10.17). Then, I used the proxy host 10.102.61.46, and the proxy port 8080.. I swear you already know how to set it, so there's no need for me to discuss it.. Then after that, change also the connection settings of your torrent.. ( My torrent version is 3.0 Beta).. First, click Ctrl + P.. Then, at the Preferences click connection .. Changed the port used in incoming connections by 9666. .> uncheck the following: (i). enable UPnP port mapping, (ii.) enable NAT-PMP port mapping, (iii) randomize port each start; (iv) add windows firewall exception.. At the Proxy server, Follow the following format: Type: HTTP (not HTTPS) > Proxy: 10.102.61.46 > Port: 8080. Check "Use proxy for peer-peer connections.. Click apply > ok.. That's it! You're done! Test it if it works..

I just want to know if meraki MX can block psiphon and ultrasurf since this proxy method is very popular in the philippines mindanao side. These proxy method are the problem of most midsize company in mindanao because most of popular firewall cannot block their traffic.

I have the same problem as @franctorres, I am in the middle of an homologation of the product and all the test with ultrasurf fail, it always connnects, even activating Anonymizer and Critical Risk categories, and Ultrasurf and Ultrasurf Chrome extension applications. In the log the GW drops some connections, but finally it connects.

Guys, I have really good lab with https inspection enabled (yes its R81.20, but I dont think version matters), so if you need me to test this with any specific ultrasurf category/site, please let me know. 0852c4b9a8
