Mezedakia

Mezedakia (μεζεδάκια) refers to small, savory dishes served in Greek and Cypriot cuisine. They are best described as a concept of small plate foods, similar to Spanish tapas, and are crucial to the Eastern Mediterranean communal dining experience. They can be served as appetizers but are often combined to form an entire meal, typically as an accompaniment to alcoholic beverages like ouzo, wine, or beer.
