Books

Most books are available for checkout. Items with red labels are non-circulating (e.g., reference books) or reserved for faculty.

Please check the spine label before heading to the circulation desk.

Borrowing:

Green labels can be checked out.
Red labels are for in-library use only or restricted to faculty.

Only "Public Performance Versions" can be played in the library.
"Home Use Only" versions are for personal viewing only.

Magazines (Weekly/Monthly):

Focus on current events, reviews, and popular trends.
Shorter articles with high-quality photos and advertisements.

Journals (Monthly/Quarterly/Bi-annually):

Focus on academic research and scholarly papers.
Longer articles featuring charts, footnotes, and bibliographies.

E-Resources

Access various online resources through the Library Discovery System, including E-books, E-journals, and Databases.

Note: A "Database" is a digital platform that curates specific themes or types of data, making it easier for researchers to find specialized information.

Items Beyond TNUA

Can’t find what you need? If a book is already checked out and you can't wait, or if it's not in our collection, you can use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services:

NDDS (Nationwide Document Delivery Service): Request copies or books from other libraries in Taiwan.
Reciprocal Borrowing Cards: Borrow physical cards to visit and borrow books directly from partner libraries.
