The mission focuses on developing new mathematical modeling algorithms to analyze dynamic positron emission tomography (PET) data for clinical applications in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), heart disease, neurodegeneration, and cancer. Prior to that I had been an applied mathematician, where the responsibility was committed to construct mathematical models and develop analytically and numerically mathematical techniques to examine problems arising in applied sciences such as medical imaging, evolutionary biology, electroencephalography, hydrology or oil, geophysical prospecting, pollutant source detection, groundwater, turbulent flows, peridynamics.
