ABCDEF6G - Technology enablers filling the gap for Industry 5.0, Pal Varga
Abstract: The enablers behind the acronym are Artificial Intelligence, Blockchains, Cloud technologies, Data Science, Edge AI, Fog computing, and 6G. Industry 5.0 aims to solve certain issues that industry 4.0 have not even thought to address, such as human-machine co-working, resilience, sustainability. The talk filters through Industry5.0 needs and expectations in the ABCDEF6G technology enablers, and locates integration points as well as research gaps. It especially focuses on the AI and the cloud aspects of the upcoming steps towards Industry5.0. Furthermore, 6G requirements and promises are also shown in light of the industrial use-case needs.
KDT AIMS5.0: Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing leading to Sustainability and Industry5.0, Thomas Gutt
Abstract: New technologies from IoT and based on semantic web ontologies, ML and AI will help to enable the transformation from Industry4.0 to Industry5.0, to create human-centric workplace conditions and to enable the transformation of the industry to climate-friendly production. This talk introduces the objectives and machinery of the European project AIMS5.0. It is A Key Digital Technologies (KDT) initiative, aiming sustainable production, by adopting, extending and implementing AI-enabled hardware and software components and systems across the whole industrial value chain to further increase the overall efficiency.
