Triathlon Nova Scotia is excited to introduce its first equity, diversity, and inclusion program, which is geared toward introducing the sports of swimming and triathlon to individuals who have immigrated to Canada and/or identify as members of the BIPOC community. The main focus will be on building water safety, competency, and confidence while developing and improving the front-crawl technique. More advanced swimmers will also have the opportunity to improve their technique, enhance their speed and efficiency, and learn some triathlon-specific swimming skills.
The Dalplex will host a five-day program consisting of five one-hour sessions in July (Dates and Times TBD), and this event will be FREE for ages 8-15. Weekend programs consisting of two 1.5-hour sessions will be held at Zatzman Sportsplex (June 29th @ 9:00-10:30am and June 30th @ 6:30-8:00pm) in Dartmouth and the LCLC in Bridgewater (July 7th @ 10:00-11:00am), which will be FREE for ALL ages.
On the registration page, you can register for as many days as you like, so don't worry if you can only attend one or two sessions during the week!
