VISION MISSION OBJECTIVES

VISION:

The Guidance & Counseling Office of Tanjay National High School (Opao) participates in the realization of the school’s Vision-Mission by providing opportunities for a Holistic Growth and Development of every student of the said institution.

MISSION:

To go nearer our vision, the Guidance & Counseling Office shall assist every individual/ client realize their optimum human growth and development in partnership with the internal and external stakeholders.

The Peer Facilitators’ Group or the “Helping Pals: The Empowered Millennials” is one of the Special Services of the Guidance & Counseling Office of Tanjay National High School (Opao). These are students who could easily relate to their peers. They feel comfortable being around them. They can talk about themselves and life in general without being distant. The Helping Pals’ Group is an arm of the Guidance & Counseling Office to reach out to more students who are seeking for help from friends to whom they find friendship, belongingness, acceptance and reassurance. They have been trained on the self-awareness, child protection policy, anti-bullying law, basic helping skills and team building activities.
