It's nearly the 5th February - the third year anniversary of me finding the lump. I try not to think about it but unfortunately, it is there in the back of my mind. I'm sure that Thursday will just pass by - I'm busy and driving all around Kent. I'm also booked in to have my hair cut on that day 😀
To be honest, I don't really have too much to report. There is a Cancer In Common event on Saturday in Hastings. That's something to look forward to, It's also very nearly half term - half way through the academic year. Wahoo!
I did have my sinus surgery on 16th January - my tooth was also extracted. It's lovely not smelling or tasting infection. It's also nice not having an 'iffy' tooth. I'm going to be reviewed in March, around the same time as I see Mr C for my yearly check up. I rang the chemo department today to find out what the protocol is for restarting the zoledronic acid now that is all done. I should have had that on 21st November but obviously, because of the tooth infection etc, that had to be postponed. As long as my jaw has healed, I should be good to go and have my 8th infusion.

Today was a Cancer in Common day. I had a great time - Rachel came down from London and it was so good to see her. The Walkie Talkie girls were there. Loads of other people were there; and as always, we had a wonderful time.

Bonnie cat has been diagnosed as a diabetic! We are going to try something called Senvelgo which goes on her food. I need to check her urine for ketones every day for the first two weeks and then review. Hopefully she will be ok with this medication - I can't see how to do insulin injections twice a day.
She will be starting it very soon.

The Walkie Talkies group met up at Folkestone and we walked along the seafront and back along the Leas.
It was a lovely day and as always, it was great being able to catch up with everyone.

Bonnie started the Senvelgo today. Let's hope this goes well.
I'm also struggling to get hold of the people who need to advise me on what I have to do in order to restart my Zometa/zoledronic acid. I'm going to keep pestering.
