I'm quite late with the blog this month. I also didn't go back to it in November. I've been busy with work and had lots to do.
November was quite a busy month. Mum and I went to London on the 8th. I managed to get most of my Christmas shopping done. We had a lovely day.
The following Saturday, the 15th, Rachel and I met in London and had a mooch around. This was a lovely day as well. Great food, a lovely ice cream and fabulous being tourists. I'll add some photos below.Â
The Sunday after that, mum and I went to Winchester Christmas market on a coach trip. Again, we had a great day. I think I finished my Christmas shopping and also treated myself to a few little bits.
Now we're in December - I haven't done anything as exciting as the above but I have seen the ENT team. Apparently, the tooth infection I have has caused all of the sinus issues I have. Bascially, I think I've had the tooth issue since before my chemo started - I'm pretty sure I wrote about the raging toothache I had in April 2023 - I believe that was the start of the abscess. The CT scan I had in September shows that the infection has gone through to the sinuses and filled it full of muck! This now means that I have to have my sinuses cleared out and at the same time, I'll have that tooth removed by the MAXFAX team. I am at risk of developing osteonecrosis of the jaw but thankfully I won't be under my dentist!
