What to Bring:
Yoga mat or thick outdoor towel.

What We Will Cover
SCA 101: A simple breakdown of what we do, from heavy armored combat and archery to fiber arts and calligraphy.
Finding Your Persona: How to choose a time period and culture (anywhere from pre-17th century) that excites you.
Decoding the Jargon: An easy cheat sheet for common terms like "Garb" (clothing), "Gold Key" (loaner gear), and "Shire" or "Barony" (local groups).
Your First Kingdom Event: Exactly what to expect when you attend Court, tournament, or feast.

2:00PM- How to build your SCA Resume with Baroness Ilene Johnnestoune - Feast Hall
A resume in the SCA serves a different purpose than in the corporate world. Instead of competing for a paycheck, you are competing for responsibility, high-level volunteer appointments, and recognition.
What to Bring
A digital or printed copy of your current resume.
A list of SCA roles or projects you have done for our group.
A laptop, tablet, or notepad to work on.
