Grief and Loss Support
Grief and Loss Support
As a former foster parent, I became intimately aware of a unique type of grief/loss called: Ambiguous Loss. This type of loss can be challenging to cope with because the losses can't be resolved. While these losses can't be resolved, they can be supported and acknowledged by others who have or are experiencing this unique type of loss.
I have found that this support is best provided in the form of small group therapy sessions. I've developed a group counseling curriculum that helps participants find connection, validation, and a pathway toward healing.
