Important Dates

Welcome to Advancing Toastmasters, otherwise known as Team Collaboration,  We currently meet on the second  

Thursday of each month to support each other in our quest to earn DTM.

Area Directors are Expected to Attend

4 District Executive Committee Meetings and Training Sessions which are normally held on Saturdays; the length will

 depend upon the agenda and needs of the District Council.

Dates you need to know (club information is annotated with an **)

• 8/1 - Smedley Award Membership Campaign begins **

• 8? - TLI - Club Officer Training (See D117 Calendar for registration and details) **

• 8/29 - Club Officer Training must be submitted to Division Director

• 9/30 - Membership dues should be paid (Minimum 8 to earn DCP credit w/4 renewing) **

• 9/30 - Smedley Award Membership Campaign ends **

• 10/1 - Club of the Year Program Begins

• 10/31 - Round 1 Area Director visits end 

•  11/1 - Round 2 Area Director visits begin

• 12/? - Club Speech Contests Begin (Check the D117 Calendar for specific dates)**

• 12/31 - Semi-annual Club Officer list due if applicable (submit through Club Central)**

• 2/1-3/31 - Talk Up Toastmasters Begins.

• 2/? - Club Contests end ** (Check the D117 Calendar for specific dates)

•  2/? - Area Speech Contests Begin** (Check the D117 Calendar for specific dates)

• 3/? - Area Speech Contests End

• 3/? - Division Speech Contest begin (All area directors are expected to participate) **

• 3/31 -$$ Membership dues should be paid (Minimum 8 to earn DCP credit) **

• 5/1 - Nominate and vote for new club officers first meeting in May (Submit list via Club Central)

• 5/? - Early Bird TLI (Club Officer Training round 2 Begins) **

• 5/? - District 117 Conference and Speech Contests begin

• 6/30 - Last day to submit information for DCP credit **

6/30/___ - Congratulations! You made it. Did you complete at least one path?
