Regulations

MAPS AND CARDS USED
Rounds 1-3 will be respectively played on the Tharsis, Hellas and Elysium maps, using all official cards from the Base set, Corporate Era and Prelude 1 expansions. No Promo cards will be used.

PLAYER COUNT
All games are intended to be 4-player. If the number of participants does not permit this, some games may be 3-player instead.

DRAFTING

• As a house rule, players will select their corporation out of 3 cards, rather than 2. 

• Cards will be drafted during each generation's Research phase.

TIME LIMITS

• Please make sure to arrive at the venue by 09:00 if you are bringing a copy of the game with you, or by 09:30 otherwise. Delays might result in your seat being offered to a player on the waiting list.

• Each round will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Players will be notified 15 minutes before the scheduled end of a round. If any games are still ongoing at that time, each player takes one more turn and the game ends, following production and final greenery placement.

SCORING

• In every round, the winner of a game will get 5 points, second place will get 3 points, third place will get 2 points, and fourth place will get 1 point. 

• In case of 3-player games, the winner will get 4.5 points, second place will get 2.5 points and third place will get 1.5 points.

TIEBREAKERS

• Game ties are resolved in favour of most, in order: megacredits, megacredit production, steel production, titanium production, plant production, energy production, heat production.  

• Ties in tournament rankings will be resolved in favour of the player whose opponents achieved the most total points in the tournament. Further ties are resolved by calculating the ratio of a player’s total VPs to the sum of all VPs scored in that player’s games.

TABLE ALLOCATION

• In Round 1, players will be placed at tables randomly.

• In Rounds 2 and 3, we will try to place players of similar skill levels at the same table. Skill level will be determined by the tournament rankings at that time.

By participating in this tournament, you agree that you may be filmed or photographed by tournament organizers while at the venue. This material will only be used for promotional purposes on our social media. We will never tag you without your permission.
