This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal company name] (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TMG mobile application (the “App”). The App is a business tool for authorized sector employees, company employees, and consumers to view water-meter locations, flowmeters, readings, consumption and revenue summaries, and support tickets.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is intended for people whose accounts are created by their organization or utility operator. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Information you provide
Account sign-in. Sector employees and company employees sign in with an email address, password, and role. Consumers sign in with a flowmeter serial number, password, and role.
Profile returned after sign-in. Name, email address, user ID, company ID, and role.
Support tickets. Subject and description that you type when you create a ticket for a flowmeter.
We do not ask you to create an account inside the App. Accounts are issued by the organization that operates the service.
Information stored on your device
After a successful sign-in, the App stores your authentication token and profile (name, email, user ID, company ID, and role) in the device’s secure storage (Android Keystore or the iOS Keychain). Your password is sent only to our server to verify sign-in. It is not saved on the device. Signing out, or an expired token, removes the stored token and profile from the device.
Information shown from our systems
When you are signed in, the App loads operational records from our servers so you can do your work. Depending on your role, this can include:
Location names and map links
Flowmeter details, including serial number, model, manufacturer, address, installation date, and site coordinates stored for that meter
Meter readings, including date, time, consumption, flow rate, totals, and battery level
Dashboard figures such as user counts, consumption, revenue, and loss
Existing support tickets and their status
This is company operational data. The App does not read it from your phone’s sensors.
Information we do not collect
The App does not request or collect:
Your device’s GPS or precise location
Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, SMS, or calendar
Advertising ID or cross-app tracking
Payment card or bank account details
Analytics, crash reports, or advertising profiles
There are no advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
We use the information above only to:
Authenticate you and keep you signed in
Show the locations, flowmeters, readings, dashboard, and tickets your role is allowed to see
Create and display support tickets you submit
Secure the service, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot sign-in and API errors
Meet legal, safety, and audit obligations related to utility operations
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
Our servers. Sign-in details, your profile, tickets, and the operational records listed above are sent to and stored on our API at https://api.meters-app-tmgroup.com. Access is limited to authorized personnel and systems that operate the service.
Google Maps. If you tap a location or flowmeter map link, the App opens that link in Google Maps or your browser. That link is a place already stored for the site or meter. The App does not send your device location or account password to Google. Google’s own privacy policy applies to what you do inside Google Maps.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, our staff, or the public.
We do not share personal information with data brokers or advertisers.
Information is processed on your device and on our servers that host api.meters-app-tmgroup.com. [Add the country or region where the servers are located, if you want to state it.]
On your device: the authentication token and profile stay until you sign out or the token expires. After that, the App deletes them from secure storage.
On our servers: account, meter, reading, and ticket records are kept for as long as needed to operate the utility service, meet accounting and regulatory duties, and resolve disputes. [State your actual retention period, for example “account data is kept for the life of the account and deleted within 30 days after an approved deletion request, except records we must keep by law.”]
We protect information in transit with HTTPS. Credentials on the device are stored with the operating system’s secure storage. Access to operational data requires a valid sign-in token. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Ask us to delete your account and personal information
Object to or restrict certain processing
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email [privacy contact email] from the address on your account, or ask your organization administrator. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
Account and data deletion. The App does not include public self-registration. To close an account or delete personal information, email [privacy contact email] with the subject “TMG account deletion” and include your name, role, and the email address or flowmeter serial number on the account. We will delete or anonymize personal information that we are not required to keep, and we will confirm once the request is complete. Signing out of the App only removes data stored on that device.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or the law changes. The new effective date will appear at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide notice in the App or by another appropriate method. Continued use of the App after the update means you accept the revised policy.

نستخدم المعلومات أعلاه فقط من أجل:

عرض المواقع والفلوميترات والقراءات ولوحة المعلومات والتذاكر المسموح لدورك برؤيتها
إنشاء تذاكر الدعم التي ترسلها وعرضها
تأمين الخدمة ومنع الوصول غير المصرّح به ومعالجة أخطاء تسجيل الدخول وواجهة البرمجة

خوادمنا. تُرسل تفاصيل تسجيل الدخول وملفك الشخصي والتذاكر والسجلات التشغيلية المذكورة أعلاه إلى واجهة البرمجة الخاصة بنا على https://api.meters-app-tmgroup.com وتُخزَّن هناك. ويقتصر الوصول على الموظفين والأنظمة المصرّح لها بتشغيل الخدمة.
خرائط Google. إذا ضغطت على رابط خريطة لموقع أو فلوميتر، يفتح التطبيق ذلك الرابط في خرائط Google أو في المتصفح. هذا الرابط لمكان محفوظ مسبقًا للموقع أو العداد. التطبيق لا يرسل موقع جهازك ولا كلمة مرور حسابك إلى Google. وتسري سياسة خصوصية Google على ما تفعله داخل خرائط Google.
