Principle investigator

Dr. Miso Park earned her B.S. in Pharmacy and completed her Ph.D. with a focus on identifying pharmacological targets in refractory and metastatic cancers, as well as characterizing tumor–immune cell interactions within the tumor microenvironment. During her postdoctoral training, she specialized in tumor organoid systems and DNA barcoding technologies to dissect the tumor microenvironment at high resolution. 

Her current research focuses on elucidating mechanisms of immune suppression in refractory cancer using a range of innovative platforms, including tumor organoids and in vivo metatsatic models. She also employs DNA barcoding systems to investigate immune–tumor interactions, with the goal of developing strategies to enhance the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapies.
