Things to do in Ames

Lodging:

• Participants will be in shared housing at the SUV apartments

• There will be 1-2 people per apartment

• The apartments are a short bus ride or a 30 minute walk from the summer school location

• The #25 gold bus is free and will take you between the apartments and Carver Hall (schedule). Other buses cost $1 and can take you around Ames.

Food:

• Coffee and a light breakfast will available every morning

• Lunches will be provided through campus dining each day

• For dinners, many restaurants in Ames are a short walk or bus-ride from campus or the SUV apartments. One list of restaurants is here
