The Melanated Birth Collective exists to bring melanated birthworkers together in unity, support, and empowerment.
We are committed to uplifting one another through collaboration, shared knowledge, and continued training.
Through our collective strength, we serve our communities by providing education, advocacy, and resources that protect, inform, and empower Black mothers, babies, and families.

Our vision is to create a thriving, connected community of melanated birthworkers who lead with compassion, excellence, and purpose. We envision a future where Black families are fully supported, heard, and respected throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—and where birth equity is not a fight, but a standard.
