In February 2025, Professor Tung-Yi Lin, Ph.D. was appointed Director of the Institute of Traditional Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, where he also serves as Associate Chair of the School of Chinese Medicine and leads the Traditional Chinese Medicine Glycomics Research Center. He is the head of the Scientific Evidence-based Herbal Medicine Laboratory (TLLab), focusing on herbal pharmacology, cancer biology, immunotherapy, polysaccharides, and novel protein-based drug development.

 His team’s research has been published in leading journals such as International Journal of Biological Macromolecules and the Carbohydrate Polymers.
