Ojeda is a dedicated member of the Worcester community who makes it his purpose to continuously build and develop relationships with people and organizations within the city and surrounding towns to offer programs for the betterment and advancement of youth. He works tirelessly in his current role as a physical education teacher in the Worcester Public Schools. His coaching career spans 20 years, and he recently completed his 11th year as the Head Basketball Coach of the Main South Cougars (Claremont Academy and University Park Campus School).
Ojeda has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a M. Ed in Organizational Management from Endicott College. He is a Certified CPR/AED Instructor.
Ojeda is the Director of Worcester Team United (WTU), a boys and girls AAU basketball program. He is also a Board Member for Worcester Latino Dollars for Scholars which is a non-profit organization that provides financial scholarships in support of Worcester’s Latino youth who are pursuing higher education after high school.
He was the Program Director for Recreation Worcester’s Youth Basketball Program in 2019, which served over 150 students from 5 different elementary schools in Worcester.
Coach Santos is a graduate of Salem State University with a Bachelors in Psychology (minor in biology) and a Masters in Education. Santos was Co-captain of her volleyball team during her junior and senior year. Prior to playing at Salem State Coach Santos played for Central Catholic High School, excelling as an outside and right-side hitter. She also played for Yankee Volleyball as a B-rated player.
Coach Santos is the current Head Volleyball Coach for Worcester's Main South Cougars. Prior to joining the Cougars, Santos was the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (2015) and Salem State (2014). She was also Head Coach of the Dragons Volleyball Club, Gold Team, earning two tournament medals in 2018.
