1. There is "good reputation" "neutral reputation" and "bad reputation".
a) This is displayed by pressing "TAB" and the dots next to your name.
b) "Good reputation" is gained by intimidating stunned enemies. It increases the amount of warriors that join your camp and decreases the enemy activity in your area
c) "Bad reputation" is gained by killing enemies. It decreases the warriors that join your camp and increases the enemy activity in your area.
1. Skills are required to use certain items such as the SPYGLASS, SPEAR, and TOMAHAWK.
2. Skills are unlocked with SP which can be obtained by intimidating or killing enemies, killing animals, completing objectives, clearing camps, or completing SOCIAL EVENTS.
3. To use a skill, e.g. SPYGLASS, SPEAR, and TOMAHAWK ensure that you have the skill unlocked under the skills menu. Press "E" and select the skill, then press and hold "G" to use it. Marking or tagging enemies requires SPYGLASS skill level two.
4. Recipes are also learned under the CRAFT section and by spending SP to learn them. Once a recipe is learned you can now craft that item.
1. Collecting skins from animals has a low percentage until you unlock the skill in the Skills tab.
2. If you are struggling to find crafting material, i.e. wood, press "TAB", look for "CRAFT" on the top left of the screen, find the "wooden arrow", hover your mouse over it, select "CREATE OBJECTIVE".
3. The in-game hud will give objective markers for wood to collect. This works for any craftable object.
4. Unwanted items can be traded and sold on Social Trade (Must be near a CAMP FIRE). They can also be traded with the in-game traders.
5. Dimes are used to trade with the in-game traders and there is also an auto bot buy on Social Trade for the dimes.
6. Hidden treasures are marked by a white "?" on the map and are either mounds of earth or a tree stump.
1. Groceries can be used in several ways:
2. Helping you and your warriors:
a) To level your camps, put groceries in the camp. When the warriors defend your camp, they will start leveling up. The warriors will consume the Groceries and level up; however, if new warriors join that camp the skill level will dilute the camp warriors skill level
b) Put a grocery into your horse inventory to help level up your horse.
c) Supplies are useful as a whole meal in a can when playing Immersive game mode.
3. Hurting the enemy:
a) You can sneak poisoned groceries into the enemy encampments. Place the poisoned groceries into a single loot container in the camp and the enemy will spread them around the camp. Then leave the area beyond the white county lines.
b) At the next eating cycle you will receive a notice or notices saying such and such died from poisoned groceries.
OR:
a) If you find a Farm (Icon is a pair of horns), take "Death Camas Stems" with you, clear the camp, then convert the "Groceries" you find to poisoned groceries. Don’t burn the camp as the enemy will repopulate the camp when you leave the area, at least 500 meter and the railway is completed.
b) The enemy will then deliver the poisoned groceries to the other enemy settlements around them, killing and clearing those settlements.
INVENTORY, SOCIAL TRADE, MAIL & STASH:
1. Items can be transferred between camps using the Global search bar.
2. Your Social Stash is perfect for storing high value items. This is increased in weight in increments for Trading Tokens spent and earned.
3. You can mail items to yourself for use in other resistances.
4. Social Trading Tokens should not be removed from your Social Stash. If you remove them they cannot be put back. The same applies to your Social Skill Points.
1. Wagons can be dismantled in your camp. For this you get wood, iron and horses. There is no need to remove loot from the wagon first as it is automatically put in your inventory.
2. Wagons can also be used as storage for high end items.
3. Wagons are also used for transporting prisoners. DO NOT MOVE prisoner wagons before you open it, if you do the wagon, you cannot free the prisoners, this is a bug.
4. Keys are found on the wagon driver or leader of the patrol. If you do not find the keys, you can buy keys from Social Trade.
FRIENDLY CAMPS & ENEMY CAMPS:
1. Enemy patrols and gatherers use roads to get around making camp location critical, especially when starting out. If your camp is on or near a road, consider moving it before upgrading it as it might get continuously attacked.
2. When disbanding one of your camps, the inventory has to be moved by you and your warriors. With each warrior and your character's max weight in consideration. Go to another camp or campfire and put all the inventory into another camp or on yourself to disband and move a camp.
3. Use your warriors to collect items, this will also increase their skill level. Ensure you have the skills unlocked for them to collect items.
4. Use the GATHER command to send your warriors for animal pelts, they will need bow and arrows.
5. Use ORDERS command for everything else such as wood, rope, and collectable items.
6. Saving the game and transferring inventory can only happen near camps or campfires.
7. Crafting Campfires, to save game or to distribute inventory across camps, can be unlocked with SP and then using flint and wood to craft.
8. Each camp has warrior level. To level warriors either keep them busy with gathering or put "Groceries" in the camp. The warriors will consume the Groceries and level up; however, if new warriors join that camp the skill level will dilute the camp warriors skill level.
9. To settle a new camp/land:
a) Press TAB
b) On the right side of the screen select the camp you want to send warriors from (ensure there is at least 20x ROPE and 10x WOOD in the camp)
c) Look for the icon on the left side that says "Send to Settle"
d) Select where your camp is going to be within the given circle
e) In the dialogue box select the quantity of warriors you are going to send.
f) Equip them and press SEND.
g) When looting an enemy camp take a campfire with you on your person, find and take all the loot and place it in one container within the camp, then take all that loot into your inventory and burn the settlement. Next drop the fire and put your loot to your camps. Be sure to save.
10. Alternatively, you can do the same method without a campfire. Collect all of the loot you can carry, press "TAB", and "Unstuck". This will send you to the nearest camp where you can unload and save. Be careful, as time will pass during the travel and the camp could be repopulated in the meantime.
11. War parties can be taken to camps to loot and also to mount horses. When you disband the war party the horses are part of that camp. If too many warriors are in that camp then remake your war party.
12. When sending warriors to loot and burn settlements it is best to send them a couple times and then check afterwards before they burn. They tend to leave things behind as their max weight affects how much loot they can take.
13. Enemy settlements can be burned by pressing "E", selecting "Burn Settlement", then pressing "G".
14. Gatherer settlements, i.e. Gold, Lumber, Iron and Lead are marked as pale red icons on the map. These camps are constant and cannot be burned down.
15. To enter a prison/fort or town with a narrow entrance/blocked gate and guards, sneak behind the perimeter and walk along the walls, there will be normally be two spots where a dialogue box says Hold F to Dig (Typically marked by a patch of tan dirt). Dig a hole and another dialogue box shows saying press F to CRAWL. Crawl under the wall and drop a bush hideout.
16. If you are unable to burn settlement after you clear an enemy camp and it says "Settlement Populated", yet there is no one there, leave the area to beyond the white county lines. Then return to the camp and the enemy will have returned/spawned.
17. It's possible that an enemy is laying down sleeping somewhere, be sure to check the tents and area around the fire.
18. Be cautious as sometimes the enemy will be replenished by a train or patrol, if this happens you will need to clear the Settlement again.
GAME MECHANICS (DYING, HEALING, TRAINS, AND EQUIPMENT):
1. "Dying" is handled two ways in game, each one your loot will be recoverable:
a) If you die by an animal, there is a tree where you died, that has your loot on it.
b) If you die by an enemy an objective will come up to find and take revenge on him. Once you clear the camp, your loot will be scattered around the camp.
2. Trains are an important objective to stop the enemy expanding and there are a few ways to derail it:
a) Using a wrench: dislodge the logs just as the train starts passing you.
b) Using a 3 second gunpowder charge on the water tower as the train passes.
c) Use an oversized charge on the tracks, this needs to be done when the train is about fifty meters from you.
d) If using the first two methods and train stops before the logs or tower then drop (4) x "30 second gunpowder charges" all at once at the front of the stopped train to derail it
3. Bows and weapons that break turn red in your inventory and cannot be repaired. Drop them on the ground and they will despawn as there is no use for them.
4. Using a weapon will degrade its quality over time and use. Putting it in a wagon or camp for a full day resets the degrade clock. Use another weapon in the meantime.
5. You can find and use Blueprints throughout the land. Use these to enhance weapon qualities:
a) Two low quality guns + the parts = regular quality
b) Two regular quality + the parts = high quality.
6. To DIG ensure you have a shovel in your person Inventory.
1. Only one horse can be bonded with per game. Check for this month’s horse names that give double bonuses.
2. Horses can be customized by making a stronger bond.
a) Hold Z on a selected horse.
b) Check bond level and required items to increase the bond.
3. Bonding can occur more quickly when you hunt and shoot or kill from the saddle. Adding one grocery in
the saddlebag can increase the bonding rate as well.
4. Call your horse to you by pressing "E", "CALL HORSE", and pressing "G". The max distance is 150m.
5. Horses cannot be tethered to wagons.
6. Horses can and will follow you when you fast travel.
7. Use your horse as a mobile inventory, recommended to have the following items on it at all times
a) 1x Wrench
b) 1x Shovel
c) Spare arrows
d) Spare bow
e) 1 x Oversized charge
f) 5 x 30 second charges
g) 2 x 3 second charges
h) Some heals or food if in CLASSIC mode
i) 3 x Campfires
j) Rifle with optic & ammo
k) Keys
l) 1 x grocery for bond level
1. PEACE TREATY:
a) When they offer the peace treaty ensure you are setup with enough camps that are at maximum upgrade level.
b) When the treaty is offered and you accept it, almost immediately the enemy will break the treaty and all your camps will be filled to max population.
c) Enemy cavalry will arrive and start trying to wipe you out.
d) If you survive, you get to keep the other warriors.
2. RESETTLEMENT ORDER:
a) When this treaty is offered you are resettled and lose everything in your inventory (GAME OVER). The only perk to this Order is that it is an event and you get a tidy sum of SP and Trading Tokens for a new settlement.
b) Only accept this order if you are having a hard time with your resistance and want to start over.
c) Use the SOCIAL TAB and mail yourself any inventory items you want to keep, e.g. groceries, toxin arrows, pelts, etc.
d) Accept the Order.
3. If the AI feel it can not beat you, you wont get an offer or they may not break it. Players need to leave enough open space(Zones) for the enemy to reoccupy. Somewhere around 15-25%.

***TRIGGER for the Blow Bridge Objective is a freed Prisoner from train-wagon !!!! ***
At some point there will be a newspaper article of a Tycoon visit or something like that. (This is were you really start to blow up trains and burn down railway camps.)
In Aug22 I saw a new objective to blow up train, we (the community) thought that the TNT in the Social market needs a detonator. Wrong!!! That TNT stick is useless.
I proceeded to go on a extermination mission, burning all Railway camps that even came up. Burned total of 16 Railway camps.
Intimidated all the palefaces in railway camps, and interrogated all I could.
The Blowing up railway bridge Objective Trigger came up from a freed prisoner on my last free train prisoners objective. The objective states that there is a box of explosives and a detonator at a specific Bivouac Camp.
Go to that camp, get the Box of Explosive and the Detonator.
I blew up Bridge 1 and Bridge two in a 2 day gaming session. The Tycoon Objective also appeared to be completed, after 2nd Bridge was blown. The Tycoon was never seen.
My advice :
1.) Stun all railway camp peeps, interrogate all you can.
2.) Burn down the railway camps after.
3.) Repeat....repeat...repeat....
4.) If there is almost no railway camp present and a prisoner train comes, free them.
