Learning as an adult can be a challenge regardless of your age, level of skill or previous learning history. Working with adult learners means being able to recognize where and when someone may need a little extra help. While LBS tutors are not mental health professionals, you can still provide a range of supports to learners without going beyond your scope as a literacy tutor.
