Multi-Media Meetup

Share Your Story, Your Research, Your Projects With All the TLEF Attendees!

MULTI MEDIA MEETUP

Wednesday, August 14, 3:30 to 5:00 pm

The Multi Media Meetup (MMM) is a regular event at the TLEF. It is a chance for attendees to gather together, take a break from sessions, and visit tables set up by fellow attendees. This is YOUR chance to share information about projects you are working on, do a poster presentation of new research you are engaged in, highlight interesting tips and tricks you think others might find helpful, or share resources and information to help others working on the front lines to protect our communities and all our relations.

The first MMM was developed in 2010, at the first TLEF, to give Native students and others the chance to share their research and stories. It has continued to grow over the years, and is a great way to share information – especially if you feel like you don’t really want to do a full presentation.

Below is an online form to sign up for this year’s MMM. We want to hear your story! And if you know of someone doing something interesting, or a student who might just be taking their first steps into environmental issues, please encourage them to sign up by the July 29th deadline!

If you plan on shipping anything to the event, please note: Notify ITEP that you are shipping supplies. Your package should not arrive earlier than August 8. Each package must state they are for the TLEF, list Todd Barnell as the ITEP contact, and Courtney Northup as the Graduate contact.
