This online course will introduce methods which will increase accessibility for all learners which, in turn, promotes student success.
We will explore several simple and immediate principles that can be used to assure quality in designing learning environments for students, which can mean anything from online learning to evaluating processes and procedures. To find out more about UDL, visit this link to watch a video from CAST.
There is no pre-requisite for this online class. UDL is a very important topic in education right now because it deals with reducing barriers to student success, which directly impacts student retention. Anybody who completes the course will receive a certificate of completion from the TLC in addition to learning about wonderful strategies that help students.
We are glad to offer training experiences that will complete the annual training that is required for online instructors. These courses are optional for our full-time traditional faculty members who are interested in integrating Jenzabar eLearning in their courses. Courses are delivered completely online in an asynchronous format through Jenzabar eLearning. This means that you will be able to log into the course to complete training anytime each week during the three weeks, which is designed to maximize convenience for our instructors
Advanced JET has a pre-requisite: you should complete a basic session before you enroll in the advanced course.
