Chanté Holt
After leaving the halls of TJ, Chanté went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Studies as well as a master of Urban and Regional Planning both from VCU. She is currently working in the field of research administration at VCU as a Grant Accountant where she and her team process the research grants that are awarded to the university. In her spare time, Chanté likes to cook, craft, work in her garden, travel the world, and spend time with her family as well as her fur daughter Ruby James Holt.

Shana(Shawna) Bennett-Taylor
After leaving the steps of TJHS, Shana earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from VCU and a Master of Jurisprudence from Tulane University School of Law. She is a multifaceted leader and creative strategist in the energy industry, known for driving innovation, inclusion, and operational excellence. In her spare time, Shana brings elegance and intentionality to event design, community engagement, and legacy-driven storytelling. No matter the task, she leads with vision, warmth, and purpose.

Renita “Nita” Jenkins
After leaving TJHS, Renita went on to become a Mother of , Serial Entrepreneur , and is currently studying at Southern New Hampshire University to complete her MA of Science with a focus on social work. She is heavily involved in the community working with numerous organizations in Richmond city and the surrounding areas. Currently she is working on her first mental health summit for her own nonprofit (I’m O.K.A.Y mental health services).

Tameika King
After leaving TJ, Tameika earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from ODU and is currently working in the Early Childhood Care and Education field. Her role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of children. Supporting children’s growth and development, while giving families peace of mind, is what motivates her every day.
