Date: Friday April 24th from 5-7pm
Location: V-103B, Voorhees Hall, New York City College of Technology
A playtesting event where anyone can come and get their work-in-progress game tested and/or test the games of others.
The objective is to provide opportunities for students and game creators to get valuable feedback on their work and to promote casual networking and community building amongst them.
Can I just come and play some games?
Absolutely. It would be great if you can also help the developers by answering questions about your experience playing their game, but don’t feel pressured to do so.
Who can participate?
Anyone. This event is open to the public. If you have a game you want to get playtested, just bring it and get set up. If you don't, not a problem, just join us and playtest other people's games.
Do I need to sign-up to attend ?
No, but it would be helpful for us to gauge attendance and make sure there is sufficient space for all exhibitors. You can RSVP by sending an email to hauji@citytech.cuny.edu
What kind of games can we bring?
Anything you're working on. It can be a digital game or a physical game. It can be early in its development or near completion.
What will you be providing?
We will have a room with tables and power strips. People will need to bring their own devices for testing. We do have 4 large screens that can be used, but they need to be reserved ahead of time.
