A Message to the Young Generation About Love
By Titus Mutuku – Student, Equity Scholar
Dear brothers and sisters,
As a young person just like you, currently pursuing a career in Accounting, Finance, and IT, and having walked through life’s early challenges, I want to share with you from the heart about something we all seek—love.
In this generation, love is often misunderstood. But real love isn’t about status, appearances, or temporary feelings—it is built on respect, patience, growth, and purpose.
1. Know Who You Are First
Before seeking love from others, develop yourself. Discover your purpose, build your goals, and love yourself first.
2. Don’t Confuse Love with Lust
What many call love today is short-lived attraction. True love shows up when things aren’t perfect—it stays loyal, honest, and consistent.
3. Respect is Key
If you don’t respect each other, it’s not love. Communicate honestly, set boundaries, and never tolerate abuse.
4. Take Your Time
There’s no rush. Let love grow from friendship. It’s better to take long building something strong than rushing into pain.
5. Guard Your Heart
Not everyone who calls you "babe" is sent for your good. Be wise, stay grounded, and trust your instincts and values.
6. Let God Lead
God’s kind of love is patient, selfless, and healing. As a person of faith, I believe when God is involved, the love becomes purposeful and lasting.
Final Word
As Titus Mutuku from Kivaku Village, Makueni County, and a proud student of Maseno University, I encourage you to love wisely, live with purpose, and never lose yourself trying to please others. Be the love you seek.
With love and care,
Titus Mutuku

The power of Choices – Build Your Future Wisely
By Titus Mutuku – Student at Maseno University
---
Welcome to a space where growth, vision, and purpose meet. As a student I believe in empowering the youth to make bold, wise decisions. Having studied at Kivaku Primary, Mbooni Boys High, and now at Maseno University, I’ve learned that every small choice shapes your destiny.
---
1️⃣ Grow Beyond Your Comfort Zone
Don’t settle. Try new skills. Read daily. Attend youth forums. Learn even when no one asks you to. True progress lies outside your comfort zone.
---
2️⃣ Build the Right Circle
Surround yourself with people who uplift you. The right friendships fuel your growth.
💬 Advice: “Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future.”
---
3️⃣ Purpose Over Popularity
Likes don’t equal legacy. Focus on what builds your life, not what trends.
📝 Tip: Volunteer, serve, and build something bigger than yourself.
---
4️⃣ Lead With Integrity
Be honest, trustworthy, and accountable. Let your name speak respect.
---
5️⃣ Start Today
Dreams don’t work unless you do. Begin where you are, with what you have.
---
✨ Final Word from Titus Mutuku
Your youth is not a rehearsal; it’s the beginning of impact. Believe in your calling. Lead your generation with purpose and courage

Titus Mutuku’s Life Advice to the Youth
"Embrace Purpose Over Pressure"
---
Page 1: Know Yourself First
In a world full of noise, the greatest achievement is knowing who you are.
We often grow up being told what success looks like—grades, jobs, money—but few are told to ask:
"What is my purpose?"
As a young person, stop and reflect:
- What makes you feel alive?
- What impact do you want to leave behind?
- What are your core values?
Don’t let society define your worth. Self-awareness is your first form of success.
---
Page 2: Choose Growth, Not Speed
Life is not a competition; it’s a process. Some friends may seem ahead of you—graduated, employed, or even married. But understand:
“Delayed” does not mean “denied.”
- Grow your skills even if no one is watching.
- Start small but be consistent.
- Read, learn, volunteer, ask questions.
As long as you’re moving with purpose, you're winning—even if your success is quiet.
---
Page 3: Keep Your Faith & Values Close
Without values, we lose direction.
In every decision, let your values speak louder than your emotions: Choose honesty even when it's hard.
- Choose respect even when you're hurt.
- Choose patience even when you're waiting.
Faith, for me, is the foundation. It reminds me that I am guided, not forgotten.
Discipline keeps me focused.
Service keeps me humble.
---
Page 4: Lift Others as You Rise
Your story isn’t just for you.
As you grow, create room for others:
- Mentor someone.
- Give back to your community.
- Share knowledge freely.
True greatness is when your journey inspires another.
Let your life be proof that success doesn’t require shortcuts—it requires integrity, persistence, and purpose.
