PREAMBLE

The goals of the Open Font License (OFL) are to stimulate worldwide development of collaborative font projects, to support the font creation efforts of academic and linguistic communities, and to provide a free and open framework in which fonts may be shared and improved in partnership with others.

The OFL allows the licensed fonts to be used, studied, modified and redistributed freely as long as they are not sold by themselves. The fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded, redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that any reserved names are not used by derivative works. The fonts and derivatives, however, cannot be released under any other type of license. The requirement for fonts to remain under this license does not apply to any document created using the fonts or their derivatives.

The license for this font is the SIL OFL license. This license does not allow us to redistribute derivative versions of the font without wholesale name changes inside and out of the font. Until we figure out a reasonable method of delivering these to you and complying with the license, you will have to use the Webfont Generator yourself on these, renaming the fonts appropriately.

The aim of the project is the creation of a collective fonts released under OFL. Each academic year, a dozen students work on the project, developing it further and solving problems. Any type designer interested in the amendment or revision of Titillium is invited to co-operate with us, or develop their own variants of the typeface according to the terms specified in the Open Font license. We also ask all graphic designers who use Titillium in their projects to email us some examples of the typeface family in use, in order to prepare a case histories database.

I am using font display swap. This means, a local font will be used until webfont loaded. But titilium web font is a narrow font. So local font takes bigger place until font loads. When I refresh page text containing object seem bigger for a second then shows up normally. Is there a narrow local font? Or is there a way to show local font size with smaller px value?

The remaining columns are similar. If you go to the home page, it works fine, but if you visit another sub-page, for instance www.dqsurgical.de/impressum, you notice that the complete column is bold, not only the first line. I tried to fix this with the developer tools of my browser and it seems to be an issue with the font. I had issues with Titillium Web before, for example it was displayed very unsharp when selected as the default font in the customizer. I fixed this by selecting a different font, Helvetica Neue, and manually using Titillium with css or html. This seems to be another issue related to Titillium.

So i'm using "Titillium Web" google font. And I am a little confused. Is "Titillium Web font-weight: 900;" equal to "Titillium Black" or is that a different font. Also is "Titillium" font-weight: 400;" The same as "Titillium Web" font-weight: 400;"

Titillium is born inside the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino as a didactic project Course Sort design from the Master of Visual Style Campi Visivi. The aim from the project will be the creation of a collective fonts released beneath OFL. Every academic year, a dozen students operate around the project, establishing it additional and solving challenges.

Titillium is a sans-serif typeface designed by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino in Italy in 2006. It is a humanist font, with its shapes and proportions inspired by traditional calligraphic forms. The font features a large x-height and open apertures, making it highly legible and easy to read. It has a modern yet traditional feel, with a hint of elegance and sophistication. Titillium is a versatile font, suitable for a variety of projects, from corporate websites to magazines, posters, and more. It is also popularly used in branding and logo design. In a few words, Titillium is modern, legible, and timeless.

So, with the new Forerunner 965 454x454 watch, I created two new fonts called titillium-web-bold-128-tall and titillium-web-light-128-tall. Except, When creating the 'light' one, I didn't have Titillium Web SemiBold selected as a font so the font looked different on the simulated device. Fixed my error, exported the new bitmap font and configuration and looking at the .PNG file (that the .fnt file points to), it's looks exactly like the 'Bold' one, except 'lighter' now. Thing is, the simulator persists on displaying the old font! I've rebooted, I've reset the simulator settings, clean its data, deleted the AppData\Local\Temp\com.garmin.connectiq\GARMIN\APPS folder, etc, to no avail. It still uses the old font that is nowhere in the project anymore! I'm at lost here.

Plots thicken. I've saved the font under a different name, adjusted the font.xml file accordingly, deleted the all the titillium-web-light-128-tall.* files and relaunched the simulator. Now, the font is displaying correctly.

It sounds like there may be some caching going on that is causing the simulator to persist in using the old font. Here are a few steps you can try to clear the cache and recompile the project using Monkey C in Visual Studio:

I have the same problem.

With the Monkey C: Clean Project command the problem is solved, but I have to run the command every time I change a font.

This only happens since I updated to SDK 4.2.1.

With SDK 4.1.7 and earlier everything worked fine.

I have a font issue when I export and preview my storyline project but it works correctly in editor mode. The font is Titillium from google font. The type characters are not read correctly. I'm currently working with Storyline 3 on windows 10. I have tested my project on google chrome and firefox.

Is someone know about this problem ?

We won't give up until we nail down the culprit. Could you share the font installer file(s) as well as a sample slide with us? Also, what version of Storyline are you using? To find this detail, click on the Help tab > About Storyline.

Should we add to this thread or create a new one? I downloaded a template that came with fonts. I installed the fonts (Win10). They show up fine in the editor, and some work in preview. But then there's the odd duck or two. Monserrat light looks fine in both cases. Montserrat (Body) in the editor looks fine. In preview it is a totally different serif font, and in some cases the spacing even goes awry. The blue text is supposed to be Montserrat(body), the white text seems to be Monserrat (light) in both cases. [Editor on top, Preview on bottom]

Update: I found this post, where unchecking Use Modern Text (Design => Fonts) fixed the issue. that worked for me as well. -storyline/font-changes-when-published

So, I have some troubleshooting using fonts in Storyline360. I use Chalkduster font and it's working in editor and in preview. If I publish the project and run it from my computer, no problem. But, if I run it on another computer, the font doesn't appear and it's really bad.

The problem: spacing between lines of same font different in Windows than in Mac/Linux

Our company has users with Windows, Mac and Linux versions of LibreOffice. We love the cross-platform compatibility. However we have run into a big issue: in Windows, the spacing between lines of the font Titillium is far bigger than in Linux / Mac. This makes our .odp-files useless in Windows LO, because text does no longer fit in its text box and/or on the page, so this is a huge cross-platform issue for us.

If it is an LO issue, any suggestions?

If this is a problem caused by LO, is there any way to circumvent it so that .odp files render the same in Windows as they do in Mac/Linux? I have some reason to believe it is at least partially a LO issue, as MS PowerPoint renders the spacing between the lines differently than LO, when I open the .odp. Also, Firefox on Windows and Ubuntu render the font identically.

I have the very same problem here. With 2 different fonts: Trade Gothic Next (a well-known and high quality font by linotype) and a university specific font (I guess it is purchased by linotype/monotype as well). It is a big issue for me. OSes: windows 10+libreoffice 5.1 and opensuse leap 42.1+libreoffice 5.2

Is there a fix for this yet? I need ,  and  to properly communicate in German, but Videoscribe won't accept either of them despite me importing the extended Latin characters (999) and despite the font (Eurostile) definitely being able to display ,  and . In fact, I can even see them being imported, but I keep getting the same error message. 17dc91bb1f
