Titancraft is Tango's vanilla(ish) Patreon server and is open to anyone who has an active Patreon membership on the $10 tier or higher. Since opening its doors on June 5th, 2016, the server has been going strong for over eight years and is currently in its tenth season!
Titancraft is open to players of all levels of skill and experience. Whether you're a builder, redstoner, explorer, miner, mapmaker, game designer, shenanigans-chaser, or terracotta-glazer, there's a place for you on Titancraft. We have people who spend their entire season working out of a dirt hut in the wilderness and others who work on mega-projects together with thirty others, so whatever you like, you'll be able to find it on Titancraft. Everyone is welcome, so while it might seem intimidating at first, you get used to the insanity quickly.
"The Above" is the name of Titancraft's very own custom dimension. Filled to the brim with puzzles, races, custom bosses and hidden loot, it's a worthy challenge for anyone who is sick of the day-to-day base building. The idea of the Above is actually what inspired Tango to start the Titancraft server, and it's existed in some form since the server's start. In the years since, it's been getting continually updated by a team of experienced datapack-writers and builders.
Conquering the Above can even yield you all kinds of special loot. Some of this loot will be boring vanilla stuff, such as beacons, netherite, or an Unbreaking IV elytra. Some of it will be more unique, such as the Rush leggings, the Philia pickaxe, or the forever-chased-after Boom Stick. All of these items exist as fun rewards for your superterrestrial journeys, but they're completely optional; there are still plenty of activities to enjoy if it's not your fancy.
Really, those things are small in comparison to what defines Titancraft, the community. Time and time again, we've heard and experienced that players discover the server because of Tango, but stay because of the people they meet. The community never ceases to amaze with its kindness support, and the atmosphere of mutual respect it creates.
Additionally, the community has spent the past years building some pretty amazing projects. If you want to check these out, your best option is the server tours Tango does at the end of each season. A couple of links are included below for your convenience:
A couple of pictures can be found below too, to dazzle up the website a bit ;).
The Staff Team
I won't go on too long about the staff team, seeing as I'm a member of the staff team myself. Still, I believe I can speak on behalf of every Titan when I say that our staff team is exceptional in its skill and dedication. The server itself has run smoothly for years; resets have come and gone, and they've happened without any hiccups (other than the lag 200 people tend to create). Though you can't manage a server in a way that keeps everyone happy, this staff team has supervised it in a way that has allowed the Titancraft community to flourish.
If you want to get to know us a bit better, check out the Meet the Staff page! And please keep in mind that while some of us may be intimidating, we're not really that scary, and all of us have our DMs open for you to slide into.
The Server Events
Besides the base-building experience of a regular SMP, the Titancraft Staff team also organises several seasonal districts and events. Multiple holidays are celebrated almost every season, like Halloween, Easter and Christmas. These holidays usually open up with a themed district - an area of the world set apart for everyone to build in - and are followed by an event close to the holiday itself. This event changes per event, halloween has an epic pumpkin-carving contest, where Christmas sees the server decorate a ginormous tree together.
When it works out, Tango himself even joins in on these events, usually touring the districts everyone has worked on too. Even when he doesn't show up though, these events are a great opportunity to catch a break from your normal activities and have some fun with your servermates.
In actuality, it's hard to describe what makes Titancraft unique. It's all of the above, plus a little something that can't really be put into words. It's something special that needs to be experienced to be understood. With that said, I still hope this whole webpage helped explain Titancraft just a tiny bit.
