GA-955 participates in Color Guard events for multiple orginizations. We've done Color Guard for our school events, DeKalb County School District board meetings, US citizen naturalization ceremonies, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, and many more organizations.

GA-955 actively participates in Drill meets across the state of Georgia. In December of 2017, GA-955 received their first trophy in eight years at Marietta High School, where we won 4th place in Unarmed Color Guard. The following year, we competed in Navy JROTC Drill competition for the first time, and came away with the second place trophy for Color Guard at Martin Luther King High School.

GA-955 annually participates in the district AFJROTC Military Ball. Beginning in December, the unit starts to sell tickets for the ball. Right before the ball, the unit votes on who will be crowned Mr and Mrs AFJROTC. Ballots are printed and cadets are given time to vote during the class period on who they want to win. The winners are announced the week of the Military Ball and the Tiara and Crown are ordered for the winners, which are presented at the ball itself.
