I facilitate learning as a process of inquiry, conversation, and practical problem-solving. Adults bring extensive experience, established ways of working, and perspectives shaped by their organisational environments. My role is to create the structure and conditions for them to examine these experiences, challenge assumptions, learn from one another, and translate new insights into practical action.
Across executive programmes, virtual cohorts, and in-person workshops, I balance structured learning with participant-led discussion, real-world scenarios, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving. The objective is not simply to deliver content, but to help participants make sense of their challenges and determine how to apply what they learn in their own contexts.
I design and facilitate leadership learning that connects strategic priorities to the decisions, behaviors, and management practices required to deliver them. My approach recognises that senior leaders bring significant expertise to the room; effective facilitation creates opportunities to interrogate that expertise, challenge established assumptions, and examine how leadership decisions affect organizational performance.
For a senior leadership and C-suite programme for CMA CGM, I led the end-to-end learning design across productivity, governance, sustainability, and people leadership. I developed the curriculum, facilitator guides, participant materials, and assessments, aligning the learning experience with defined outcomes and business priorities.
My approach is to make leadership concepts relevant to the decisions executives face, using structured discussions, practical scenarios, and reflection to connect learning with their organizational realities. The programme achieved 91% participant satisfaction, with leaders reporting shifts in their leadership approaches and team engagement.
I facilitate conversations that help diverse groups move beyond exchanging information to examining problems, navigating different perspectives, and reaching greater clarity or alignment. Whether working with virtual cohorts or in-person groups, I adapt the structure, pace, and methods to the audience, cultural context, and purpose of the session.
My facilitation draws on structured dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, reflection, and peer learning. Rather than relying on extended presentations or theory-heavy delivery, I use content to frame the conversation and give participants tools to investigate real challenges, test their thinking, and learn from the experiences of others. This is particularly important when working with multicultural groups, where different assumptions, communication styles, and interpretations can influence how people engage.
I am certified through Voltage Control, and I also brief and induct facilitators to support consistent programme delivery across cohorts. This involves establishing a shared understanding of the learning objectives, facilitation approach, session structure, and expected participant experience, while allowing facilitators to respond appropriately to the dynamics of each group.
I approach leadership communication as an organizational behavior and performance challenge, not simply a matter of teaching people to communicate more effectively. Communication breakdowns are often influenced by emotional responses, power dynamics, competing priorities, workplace norms, and the systems through which information and decisions move.
I begin by examining where communication breaks down, how those breakdowns affect working relationships and decisions, and what leaders and teams need to do differently. From there, I design practical learning interventions addressing areas such as business communication, emotional regulation, stress management, and the management of difficult conversations.
My facilitation focuses on helping participants work through realistic workplace situations, recognize their own communication patterns, understand how their behavior affects others, and develop approaches they can apply immediately. Where appropriate, I work alongside coaches to help participants translate these insights into organization-specific communication practices, agreements, and policies.
The aim is to move beyond individual communication skills towards more deliberate ways of working together: clearer expectations, better-informed decisions, constructive disagreement, and communication practices that support effective collaboration.
