International Experience

I have participated in a number of study abroad programs as a faculty member, including serving as director, co-director, and faculty.

As an undergraduate, I studied in Japan on a University of Hawaii at Manoa study abroad tour for Regent Scholars.

Study Abroad

As a faculty member, I have participated in a number of study abroad programs including Baylor in Great Britain (summer 2008, 2015), Baylor in Maastricht (co-director spring 2014, director summer 2019), and Semester at Sea (SAS, summer 2013, spring 2017). During our summer 2013 voyage, the itinerary included Morocco, Turkey, Malta, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. Our spring 2017 voyage took us around the world with an itinerary including Hawaii, Japan, China, Vietnam, India, Burma (Myanmar), South Africa, Ghana, and Morocco.

International Teaching and Missions

I have taught at Northrise University in Zambia (2015 and 2016) and also participated in a mission trip in Kenya (2012).
