All drivers must be between the age of 18 to 65
Drivers must have a passport, proof of return plane ticket and proof of hotel booking.
All drivers must have experience riding a bike. Our staff is allowed to cancel bookings if the driver seems unable to safely drive the bike.
All drivers must have a valid Driver’s License. Depending on your nationality and the location you might also need an International Driver’s License / document.
All drivers and passengers must wear a helmet while driving a motorbike.
Riders are required to fill out an agreement form from Tirta Bali Rent. Drivers are required to comply with all the regulations stated in the agreement letter.
Drivers must comply with existing traffic regulations in Bali
Payment
Rental fees must be paid in full before taking the motorcycle. Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or bank transfer according to Tirta Bali Rent
If payment is made by credit card, the renter may incur additional charges for transactions with foreign credit cards or the card issuer bank.
Additional fees or extra deposits may be required if the renter chooses additional insurance or selects a motorcycle with special features such as additional storage boxes.
Use of the Motorcycle
The motorcycle may only be used by the renter listed in the rental agreement. It is not allowed to lend the motorcycle to others without written consent from the rental company.
Renters are fully responsible for any loss or damage to the motorcycle during the rental period. This includes damage due to accidents, theft, or loss.
The motorcycle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or any other activities that violate the law. Renters must comply with all traffic rules and applicable laws.
Motorcycle Maintenance
Rental company will maintain the motorcycle in good condition during the rental period. This includes performing routine maintenance such as checking oil and tire pressure.
Any damage or mechanical issues must be reported to the rental company immediately after they occur. The rental company will determine the necessary repair actions and is responsible for the repair costs, unless the damage is caused by the renter's negligence or misuse.
Return of the Motorcycle
The motorcycle must be returned on time according to the agreed schedule. Late returns may incur additional fees or daily fines.
Renters must return the motorcycle in the same condition as when it was rented, except for normal wear and tear due to usage. The rental company has the right to assess damage and charge for repair costs if necessary.
Motorcycle Options
Rental companies typically offer various types of motorcycles with different sizes and features. Renters have the right to choose a motorcycle according to their personal preferences, but the availability of specific motorcycles cannot be guaranteed.
Renters should ensure that the chosen motorcycle meets their needs and is suitable for the road conditions in Bali.
Damage and Theft
Renters must immediately report to the rental company if the motorcycle is damaged or stolen during the rental period.
In case of theft, renters must provide an official police report to the rental company and follow the applicable insurance claim procedures.
Penalties and Additional Charges
Late return of the motorcycle may incur fines according to the rental company's terms. The amount of the fine is usually determined based on the number of days or hours of delay.
Additional charges may also be imposed for excess time or distance traveled. The rental company will provide further information on applicable additional charges.
The renter is responsible for ensuring that the motorbike is returned with the same amount of fuel as when rented. Additional fees may apply if the motorbike is returned with less fuel than when rented.
