The drive today is a breathtaking passage through the high alpine landscapes of Austria and northern Italy, as we travel from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road into the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße, named after the country's highest mountain (12460 feet) is Austria’s most famous panoramic road, and there is nothing we can say to describe it that will come even closer than the real experience of driving through it and stopping on the way to visit the Pasterze Glazier and the Edelweiss peak. At 3,798 meters, the Grossglockner is the country’s highest mountain, and the route that surrounds it offers one of the most iconic driving experiences in Europe.
As we descend towards the Italian border, the landscape transforms. Lush valleys and alpine meadows signal our arrival to the Dolomites.
In the afternoon, travelers will arrive to the exclusive Faloria Mountain Spa Resort 5*, nestled close to the charming alpine town of Cortina d’Ampezzo where we will stay for the next two nights. Surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites, the resort offers elegant comfort and a world-class spa — the perfect setting to enjoy a group dinner and get a well deserved rest after a spectacular day on the road.
After breakfast, the tour will enjoy one of the most memorable drives of the entire journey — a full day behind the wheel of your Jaguar, exploring the winding roads, dramatic passes, and picturesque landscapes of the Dolomites. This UNESCO-listed mountain range in northern Italy is famed for its rugged peaks, ever-changing light, and thrilling driving routes that combine natural grandeur with engineering marvels.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch in one of the many mountain huts or charming towns where you can savour the flavours of the South Tyrol.
In the evening, return to the serene elegance of the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort 5* in Cortina d’Ampezzo where a group dinner in the hotel’s refined restaurant will take place.

The drive will be among mountains, vineyards, sacred sites and rolling hills. In the road book you will find suggested stops to make the most of today´s route.
You'll have free time for lunch on route, with many excellent local options. Farther west, the landscape opens into the breathtaking valleys of South Tyrol. This region is famous not only for its dramatic scenery but also for its unique fusion of Austrian and Italian cultures — evident in its language, cuisine, and charming villages.
The drive concludes at the luxurious Das Paradies Hotel 5*, set in an idyllic location overlooking the mountains and valleys below where the stay will be for one night and the group will enjoy dinner.
Prepare for a driving experience that stands among the greatest in the world. Today, you take on the legendary Stelvio Pass (Passo dello Stelvio) — an unforgetable drive of asphalt that climbs and twists through the Italian Alps, boasting 48 hairpin turns and unforgettable panoramic views at every elevation.
This iconic route is known as one of Europe’s most spectacular mountain roads. As you ascend to over 9000 feet, the memorable alpine landscape unfolds: rugged cliffs, glaciers, and sweeping valleys will blow your mind.
After conquering the Stelvio, the route continues across scenic alpine terrain as you cross into Switzerland, descending towards the elegant mountain town of Davos.
In the early evening, arrive at the Hotel Ameron Davos 4*, a refined retreat where the group will stay for one night. The day concludes with a group dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
Starting in Davos, this stage includes beautiful roads between the Constance and Zurich lakes, and also goes deep into the enchanting Black Forest, a region known for its quiet majesty and untouched beauty.
Around midday, a lunch stop is planned at the historic Kiburg Castle. Surrounded by quiet countryside, the castle offers an idyllic setting for a picnic-style lunch. In this peaceful atmosphere, we’ll take time to relax and enjoy the open air.
After lunch, the scenic route will take travellers to the refined Luisenhöhe Resort Hotel 5* where the stay will be for one night and a group dinner will be served.
As our journey continues, we venture into the heart of the Vosges Mountains, a region that beautifully blends natural serenity with cultural depth. The route takes us along winding roads that offer sweeping views of wooded slopes, quiet villages, and crystal-clear lakes. Driving through this peaceful region in our Jaguars allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the French countryside.
Midday brings us to Mulhouse, where the group will make a special motoring stop at the Cité de l’Automobile – Musée National de Mulhouse, one of the largest and most prestigious car museums in the world. Housing a world-class collection of classic vehicles—including Ettore Bugatti's personal collection —the museum is a tribute to the artistry and evolution of automotive design.
After time to explore the museum, we continue our drive deeper into the Vosges to reach Le Clos des Délices hotel & SPA, property nestled in a quiet valley.
This evening, we will celebrate a farewell dinner, a moment to toast to the adventure, exchange stories, and enjoy Alsace's best gastronomy.
