Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy — TiriGo Version 01.
Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy — TiriGo Version 01.
1-TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Platform presentation
TiriGo is a platform that connects travelers who have available luggage space with senders who wish to send items. TiriGo acts exclusively as a technical intermediary and does not take part in any physical transport, payment, or delivery.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Using TiriGo implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The user undertakes to comply with the laws of their country of residence and with the laws of the countries of departure, transit, and arrival.
3. Role of TiriGo
TiriGo is neither a carrier, nor a sender, nor the owner of the packages. We do not physically verify items and we do not take part in any financial transaction. Agreements are concluded under the sole responsibility of the users.
4. User responsibility
The sender is solely responsible for the content and the legality of the package. The sender explicitly authorizes the traveler to open and inspect any package. The traveler is responsible for checking the content and for complying with customs laws.
The traveler must also comply with the rules of their airline or transport operator. The traveler must never accept a closed, sealed, or wrapped package whose contents they have not seen, and must be able to describe every item they carry to airline staff and to customs officers.
5. Prohibited items
The following items are strictly prohibited on TiriGo: drugs, weapons, explosives, flammable products, protected species, fake documents, undeclared cash, counterfeit goods, and toxic substances.
Regulated items — including medicines, food products, alcohol, tobacco, devices containing lithium batteries, and cash within legal limits — may only be carried where both the sender and the traveler comply with the quantity limits, declarations, prescriptions, and authorizations required by the countries of departure, transit, and arrival.
6. Payments and transactions
TiriGo does not manage any payment. Transactions take place outside the platform. TiriGo disclaims all responsibility in the event of fraud, non-payment, or financial dispute.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TiriGo is not responsible for losses, thefts, delays, customs confiscations, damages, or legal proceedings related to the transport of items. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory law applicable to the user.
8. Identity verification
TiriGo may request documents in order to improve security, but does not guarantee the authenticity of the information provided. Users must remain vigilant.
9. Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of fraud, breach of these Terms, or repeated reports.
10. Personal data
Data is used only for the operation of the platform. Certain information is visible to other members in order to make the connection between users possible. The processing of personal data is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
11. Physical meetings
Users are solely responsible for their meetings. Prioritize public places and verify the identity of the person you are meeting.
12. No guarantee
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the reliability of members, the success of a transport, or the permanent availability of the application.
13. Modification of the Terms
TiriGo may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon their publication. The version number and the date shown at the top of this document indicate the version currently in force.
14. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the law of FRANCE. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the operator's country of domicile shall have jurisdiction. Where the user is a consumer, this clause does not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
15. Explicit acceptance
By creating an account, you acknowledge that you send or transport items under your own responsibility, that you accept the inspection of packages, and that you comply with international laws.
16. Dispute resolution
TiriGo does not process, hold, or mediate any payment between users, and does not operate a dispute-resolution service. Any disagreement regarding payment, the condition of an item, delivery, or conduct must be resolved directly between the sender and the traveler.
17. Age requirement
TiriGo is reserved for individuals aged 18 years or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Any account found to belong to a minor will be deleted.
2-Privacy Policy — TiriGo
At TiriGo, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of data privacy.
