 Embark on a journey into the realm of data with me, Tipu Sultan—an ambitious Data Analyst and ML Engineer currently shaping my expertise as a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Saint Louis University. My research at the Mecharithm Lab focuses on assistive robotics, leveraging EEG, EMG, and eye-tracking data to develop transformer-based models for real-time intent recognition. I am also pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Fordham University, where I hold a GSAS Centennial Scholarship and maintain a GPA of 3.72/4.00.

My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from Kyungsung University, where I graduated with distinction, earning a Merit-Based Scholarship (Ranked 1st) and actively participating in the Dean's Council. My passion for research led me to publish several papers, including innovative works on multimodal fusion techniques and medical data analysis.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, I bring diverse perspectives to my professional endeavors, blending technical expertise with creativity drawn from dance, music, and foreign languages.

During my internship at Authentic Brands Group, I honed my skills in data analysis and visualization using SQL, Tableau, and Python. My work involved conducting exploratory data analysis, creating interactive dashboards, and leveraging SQL for data extraction and transformation. I ensured data integrity through robust data governance practices and employed Python scripting and VBA in Excel for troubleshooting, forecasting trends, and strategic decision-making.

Previously, at WorldPressIT LLC, I crafted insightful visualizations using Tableau and Power BI, conducting comprehensive data analysis across diverse sectors. My technical expertise spans Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, enabling me to seamlessly clean, transform, and analyze data for impactful insights.

As a Data Science Research Assistant at Fordham University, I am at the forefront of cutting-edge machine learning projects, specializing in natural language processing and data cleaning for reliable model development. I am deeply involved in ensuring the accuracy and generalizability of machine learning models.
