Our investigation started with understanding the term Corruption followed by its types and stages. We understood through inquiry that each system faces corruption.
The types of corruption are
Bribery.
Embezzlement
Extortion and blackmail.
Bribery refers to misusing money or the value of money for personal gain.
Embezzlement refers to misusing power or authority for personal gain.
Extortion refers to misusing weapons or technology for personal gain which is by blackmailing.
The stages of corruption is a process of sorting possible corruption.
The stages of corruption are
opportunity
rationalization
intention
implementation
concealment.
Opportunity is where we get a chance to perform corruption
Rationalization is where we convince people and gather them to perform corruption
Intention is where we plan to perform corruption
Implementation is where we perform corruption
Concealment is where we clean up the evidence.
