Our journey through PYP was exhausting, yet exciting. This is what we did from the start to the finish.
First we all sat together and sort out essential agreements. Then we all worked out what we were good at. After that, we divided our theme description, "How we express ourselves" into four parts. After we did this, we thought of topics for for all four parts. For example, our first part of the description was an inquiry into the interconnectedness of human made system and communities. From this part of the description we got topics like technology and hierarchy. After everybody got topics for all four parts of the description, we selected 2 topics for each teams. We narrowed down 2 topics to 1 topic and got our "Big Idea" - Business. We were happy that we got our topic and we could start making our charts, but we also hesitated since we did not know what charts we need to make and also the order. Then we got an idea from the captain of Team Famine, Vaibhav. They were doing a world map on which countries have famine. We got an idea from them and did a world map on which countries are rich in business and which countries have very poor business. After that we also did charts about our SDG, charts about Socialism, Capitalism and Communism, another World Map about which countries produce which goods and services and also a chart about what is business. After all that we also wrote our journey through this process in a chart which we call " The oppurtunities and challenges of our PYP journey. We also decided our dress code as a black pant with a white shirt with a tie of any color since that is the dress of a formal businessman. We were nervous about our speech but we were ready as PYP exhibition was approaching. We were ready.
