The idea of my project is to make a stabilized cup holder for kayak because I would love to take soda out with me but there is the chance of it spilling. There is a brand that makes cup holders that seem like they would hold a cup holder however I am not sure if they do. as well as they use a different attachment method I plan on making the cup holder attach to kayak accessory rails that most fishing kayaks have. The cup holder has to withstand saltwater and is going to rely on gravity to stabilize the drink. it will stabilize a open top drink such as a soda can and work with normal water bottles. When ever I had free time I would brainstorm ideas of how to improve the design. I landed on make it 3D printed for simplicity and strength. I will test it by taking it out on my kayak and seeing how well it does. I don’t know what size bearings I need but they are usually 7-12$ depending on size and amount the rest will be 3D printed
