Important to Soldiers.
I am now prepared to furnish headstones for all graves of deceased soldiers in this locality which are still unmarked, and a full list of such graves from every cemetery in the county is hereby requested. Such lists must give the name, rank, company, and date of death of such soldier; also, specify the name of cemetery and the township where located. Under the decision of the Quartermaster General headstones are only furnished by act of Congress for soldiers who died previous to February 3, 1879. All persons in charge of cemeteries are requested to be prompt in furnishing these lists, that the graves of our departed heroes may be properly and appropriately designated. Address

Greenbush Cemetery.
Greenbush Cemetery has been much improved- completely metamorphosed as it were. The iron fence formerly surrounding the Court-house yard has been added to the one already in position, the two together extending almost around the entire enclosure. The trees have been carefully trimmed, and a generally and systematic improvement is observable everywhere. Sunday being a pleasant day, the enclosure was thronged with many quiet groups of meditative citizens enjoying the fresh air and the peaceful calm of the silent city.
