TipCalc ("the App") is developed by Super Cloud. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our tip calculator application.
TipCalc is a utility app that does NOT require an account and does NOT collect or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
Tip Calculations: All calculations (bill amount, tip rate, split count) are performed locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Calculation History: Your history is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded.
App Preferences: Your selected language and settings are stored locally on your device.
Currency Rates: When you use the currency converter, your device requests public exchange rates from third-party rate providers (open.er-api.com / frankfurter.app). No personal data is sent with these requests.
Google AdMob: The App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad serving and analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: Used to manage the optional TipCalc Pro in-app purchase. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions and may store a pseudonymous app user ID. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Currency Rate Providers: open.er-api.com and frankfurter.app supply public exchange rate data. No personal information is shared with them.
TipCalc Pro is a one-time optional purchase (non-subscription). Purchase transactions are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not see or store your payment card details.
TipCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your calculation history and preferences remain on your device. You can clear them at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data in your device settings. We do not hold any of your personal data on our servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
