This Privacy Policy describes how Tinywow ("we," "our," or "the app") handles information when you use the Tinywow mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Introduction

Tinywow is a utility application that helps you work with PDF and image files on your device—such as converting images to PDF, extracting images from PDFs, merging PDFs, and applying password protection. The App is built to operate primarily on your device and does not require you to create an account.

2. Summary (key points)

• On-device processing: your PDF/image conversions and document operations are performed locally on your device.
• No account required: we do not require registration or login.
• Ads: the App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect and use certain device information to provide and measure ads.
• Control: you can limit ad personalization and reset your advertising ID using your Android settings.

3. Information we collect (and why)

The App itself is designed to operate without a developer backend for routine features. However, the App includes advertising technology (Google AdMob) and uses Google Play services, which may process certain information as described below.

3.1 Advertising (AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK)

When ads are shown, Google and its partners may automatically collect and use certain information to provide, deliver, and measure ads, and to help prevent fraud and abuse. Depending on your device, settings, region, and consent choices, this may include:

• Advertising ID (or a similar device identifier), and information to reset/limit it.
• IP address (may be used to estimate general location at a city or region level).
• Device information (model, OS version, language), app version, and basic app interaction signals (such as ad impressions, clicks, and performance).
• Diagnostic information for ad delivery and measurement.

We do not receive your personal documents from AdMob. We do not use ads to access the content of your PDFs or images.

Important: Data collected by AdMob is processed under Google's policies and may vary based on your consent and settings. See "Third-party services" below.

3.2 Support communications

If you contact us by email (for example, through "Contact Support" in Settings), you voluntarily provide your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information only to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, and improve the App. Support emails are retained as long as reasonably necessary to address your request and meet legal or operational obligations.

4. Information we do not collect

For core PDF and image features, we do not operate a backend service that receives your selected files or stores user profiles. Specifically, we do not:

• Require registration, login, or a user account.
• Collect your name, email address, phone number, or government identifiers through the App for our own databases.
• Sell your personal information.
• Upload your documents, images, or PDFs to our servers for processing as part of normal App operation. Conversion, merging, locking, and related operations are performed on your device using the files you choose.

Note: the App displays ads through AdMob. Ad personalization controls are managed through Google/Android settings and consent flows where applicable.

5. Local processing and file access

The App needs access only to content you explicitly select or authorize through your device's file picker, photo picker, or equivalent system interfaces, and to storage locations where you save outputs.

How your files are used:
• Files you select are read and processed locally on your device to perform the feature you requested (for example, creating a PDF or merging documents).
• Output files are written to locations on your device consistent with Android storage rules, such as your Documents and Pictures areas (for example, under folders named for the App), using platform APIs such as MediaStore where applicable.

We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or location for core App features. Any permission prompts you see should correspond to actions you initiate (such as choosing files from storage).

6. Device storage and history

The App maintains a local history of operations (for example, the type of action performed, a short summary of inputs, and references such as URIs or paths to outputs you generated) in an on-device database. This helps you reopen or review recent results from within the App. History data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal App use. You can remove it by clearing the App's storage/data in Android Settings or by uninstalling the App.

7. Permissions

Android may request storage- or media-related permissions so the App can read files you pick and save results. You can review or revoke permissions in your device Settings. If you deny permissions that are necessary for a feature, that feature may not work until permission is granted or an alternative supported by your Android version is used.

8. Third-party services (Google Play & AdMob)

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play services: used for app distribution/updates and platform functionality.
• Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): used to display and measure ads (banner and interstitial).

These third parties may collect and process information under their own privacy policies and terms. For more information, refer to:

• Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Ads / AdMob information: https://support.google.com/admob

If you are in a region where consent is required for personalized ads (for example, in parts of the EEA/UK), Google may show a consent prompt or use other mechanisms consistent with applicable law and your settings.

Google Play and your device manufacturer provide their own services (such as app distribution, updates, and system diagnostics). Their use of information is governed by their respective policies, not by this document alone.

9. Your choices (ads and privacy controls)

You can control ad-related identifiers and personalization through your device settings. Options vary by Android version but may include:

• Reset Advertising ID.
• Delete or limit the Advertising ID.
• Opt out of ads personalization (or "Opt out of Ads Personalization").

You can also uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data (including history) from the device.

10. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has provided us personal information via support email, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Security

We design the App so that sensitive file operations occur on your device. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including screen locks and who has physical access to it. When you password-protect a PDF, keep your passwords confidential; we cannot recover lost passwords for files processed entirely on your device.

12. Data retention and deletion

Because we do not centrally collect your documents or usage logs for core features, there is no retention period on our servers for that data. Files and outputs remain on your device until you delete them using a file manager, gallery, or system storage tools, or until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

For ad-related data collected by AdMob/Google, retention and deletion are governed by Google's policies and your Google/Android controls.

13. Your rights and regional notices

Depending on where you live, privacy laws (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area or UK GDPR, or state laws in the United States) may grant you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by businesses, or to object to certain processing. Because the App processes your files locally and we do not maintain an account system for you, much of the information you care about is under your direct control on your device.

For requests related to information you sent us by email (such as support correspondence), contact us using the address in Section 16.

14. International users

If you use the App outside the country where it was published, your information may be processed according to this Policy and applicable law. Using the App from another region does not change our commitment that routine document processing is performed on your device.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we may provide additional notice within the App or on the store listing. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy, except where prohibited by law.

16. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or Tinywow's privacy practices, please use "Contact Support" in the App's Settings screen to reach us by email, or contact us at the developer support address shown on our Google Play listing.

Thank you for using Tinywow.
