TinySteps

TinySteps Baby Journal is designed to work on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share personal data. Your baby’s information stays on your device unless you choose to export it or enable iCloud sync.

## Information We Store

TinySteps Baby Journal stores the following information on your device:

- Baby profile details (name, birth date, optional photo, sex)

- Milestones and notes

- Growth records (weight, height, head circumference, notes)

- Memories (title, description, date, optional photo, mood)

## Optional Features

The following features are optional and only run when you enable them:

- iCloud sync (stores your data in your iCloud account)

- Export and encrypted backup (creates a file you can share or save)

- Notifications (reminders to log growth or capture memories)

- App lock (Face ID/Touch ID + passcode on your device)

## What We Do Not Collect

TinySteps Baby Journal does not collect:

- Names, email addresses, or phone numbers

- Location data

- Contacts

- Advertising identifiers

- Usage analytics

- Any data about your child outside of what you enter in the app

## Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. The only time data leaves your device is when you:

- Enable iCloud sync

- Export or share a file (JSON or PDF)

## Storage and Security

- All data is stored locally on your device by default.

- Encrypted backups use a password you choose; we cannot recover it if forgotten.

- You can choose to redact photos from exports.

## Notifications

If enabled, reminders are scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

## Your Choices

- Turn iCloud sync on or off in Settings.

- Export data with or without photos.

- Delete all data at any time using Reset All Data.

## Children’s Privacy

TinySteps Baby Journal is intended for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

## Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above.
