Nomadic housing
Faced with environmental challenges and changing lifestyles, new forms of housing are emerging. The tiny house, which is mobile, reversible and environmentally friendly, meets a growing demand for flexibility. The aim of this project is to design a 13 m² modular home for a young couple who want to combine comfort, mobility and eco-design all year round.
A young couple with no work or family ties are planning to move as soon as new opportunities arise. Their dream is to live in a micro-house measuring around 13 m², set in a plot of land for 9 months of the year. Their aim is to have a comfortable, optimised and eco-designed home, suitable for year-round living. To gain in usable space and energy efficiency, they are considering a modular solution that includes a greenhouse, which could be connected to the micro-house when it is in a fixed position.
Our tiny house is 13 m².
The first floor is 2.10 m high and the second floor is 1.05 m high.
The living room on the ground floor is 8.8 m², and there's plenty of natural light thanks to the many windows, as well as enough space to move around freely.
The bathroom is 3.2 m² and is fitted with a single-flow humidity-controlled ventilation system.
We also have a greenhouse with a modular terrace.

Tiny of Clara
Tiny of Laurence
Tiny of Eva
First, we each created our own Tiny House. Then we took elements from each Tiny to create a perfect one that met all the requirements.
For Nicolas' Tiny House, we took his pitched roof. For Clara, we took the water collection system. For Eva, we took the interior design. And for me, we took the greenhouse and patio.
There were various studies to be carried out for this project: there was the acoustic and thermal study, which was carried out by Nicolas, and then there was the mechanical study, which was carried out by Laurence.
Then we had to incorporate a modular greenhouse and a patio, so this part was carried out by Laurence.
As for the design of the interior and the creation of the model, it was Eva who took on this task.

In short, this Tiny House with greenhouse project is part of a resolutely ecological and sustainable approach, perfectly suited to a childless couple. Designed as a reversible, modular 13 m² dwelling, it complies with current European standards, while offering excellent living comfort in terms of acoustics, heating and mechanical systems. It has been designed to have a low environmental impact, thanks in particular to the use of solar panels coupled to a lithium battery, optimised natural lighting and efficient wastewater management. This type of compact, self-contained home represents a concrete response to the challenges of today's energy transition and responsible living.
