What a privilege to learn from Darlene Fisher and Trillium Hibbeln of New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), together with inspiring educators and leaders who joined their workshops. I recently attended Leading the Learning followed by NEASC Visitor Training workshop, and it reminded me of a simple but powerful truth: our learners must remain at the center of education systems. Too often, we focus on structures and processes, while overlooking the evidence of what’s really happening in classrooms. As educators, coaches, and leaders, we need to continuously ask: How is learning taking place? How are students impacted? Another key takeaway: the power of collaboration. By coming together, sharing insights, and challenging assumptions, we can support schools in their accreditation journey and nurture a shared understanding of what high-quality learning looks like—unique in every school, yet centered on learners. 💬 I’d love to hear from my network—how do you and your schools ensure that learners stay at the heart of your work? 💬 What are educators doing in their daily practice to support learning and bring your school’s vision to life? #NEASC #Accreditation #LeadingTheLearning #EducationalLeadership #InstructionalCoaching #CollaborationInEducation #StudentCenteredLearning #FutureOfEducation #SchoolImprovement

✨ Future of Learning Hong Kong 2025 Reflections ✨ Grateful to have participated in this year’s Future of Learning, Hong Kong — an inspiring gathering of passionate educators, leaders, and learners reimagining what learning could look like in the age of AI and compassion-driven systems. I had the privilege of joining a panel discussion with Sandra Chow, EdD, Penny Shengnan Ma, and Nick & Katie - two incredible senior students from Chinese International School | 漢基國際學校, where we explored “360° Perspective: Teaching, Leading, and Learning with AI.” Having students as part of the panel brought such a refreshing and authentic perspective — their insights reminded us why student voice must always be at the center of innovation. 🎤💡 A special appreciation to Katie Novak, Ed.D. for her deeply resonant sessions on: 💛 Compassion Driven Systems: Designing Schools Where Everyone Thrives (MTSS) 💡 Make It Stick: Implementation Science & the Spread of Innovation (Change Framework) 🌱 From Compassion into Action: Shifting Power to Student-Led Learning (UDL) I also feel privileged to have learned from and connected with so many inspiring educators and leaders who shared their stories, courage, and compassion in transforming learning communities. A heartfelt thank-you to the FoLHK organizers for creating such a meaningful space for collaboration, reflection, and growth. 🙏 Ed Chang Levent Erdoğan Praise Ma, Ed.D Ryan Strutin Sandra Chow, EdD Wai Ming Keric Lee Ryan Krakofsky #FOLHK #FutureOfLearning #AIinEducation #StudentVoice #UDL #CompassionDrivenEducation #EducationalLeadership #InnovationInLearning #ProfessionalLearning #LifelongLearning
