Tina Torkaman
I am currently a L.E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago. I got my Ph.D. at Harvard University under the supervision of Curt McMullen in 2023.
I will join the Department of Mathematics at The City College of New York (CUNY) as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2027.
My research interests include the geometry and dynamics of hyperbolic surfaces, as well as their Teichmüller space and moduli space.
