Tina is a meal and calorie tracking app designed to help users estimate daily calorie and macronutrient goals. This Privacy Policy is written with the goal of being clear and easy to understand. Tina only asks for the following personal information for calorie estimation:

• Country/Region, if applicable

These details are used to estimate your recommended calorie intake and nutrition goals.

Tina may also allow you to enter meal descriptions, food logs, calorie totals, and macronutrient information. These are used to help you track your nutrition inside the app.

We use your information only to:

• Estimate nutrition goals such as calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat

• Help you track meals and daily progress

• Improve your experience inside the app

We do not use your height, weight, sex, or age for advertising.

Tina is designed to keep your data on your device.

Your height, weight, sex, age, meal logs, calorie targets, and macro information are used for app functionality and calorie estimation.

If Tina later adds account syncing, cloud backup, analytics, or online AI features, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is sent, where it is stored, and why.

4. AI and Nutrition Estimates

Tina may use AI or automated estimation methods to estimate calories and macronutrients.

These estimates are not guaranteed to be accurate. They are provided only as general guidance and should not be treated as medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

5. Third-Party Services

This Privacy Policy may be hosted on Google Sites.

Google Sites and Google services may use cookies or similar technologies as part of providing and securing their services. Google explains that cookies and similar technologies can help websites remember information about visits and improve usefulness. 

Your use of the Google Sites page may also be subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. 

Tina itself does not intentionally share your height, weight, sex, age, or meal tracking information with Google through this Privacy Policy page.

6. Children’s Privacy

Tina is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may update or remove your personal details inside the app if the app provides that option.

You may also stop using Tina at any time.

If you are in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 protects personal information and gives individuals rights over their personal data. The National Privacy Commission describes the law as protecting privacy while regulating the collection, storage, use, and destruction of personal data.

However, no app, device, or electronic storage method is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and preventing unauthorized access.

If we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of Tina after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
